Our good friend Sarah Reynolds is a fine artist based in Brooklyn, New York, with a passion for large-scale charcoal drawings and sculptures. Her signature aesthetic is focused on her desire to push her choice medium, charcoal, beyond its boundaries. She allows the creative process to unfold by applying charcoal to paper in unexpected ways, blending drawings by hand and building sculptural pieces by applying water and various mounting techniques.
Her work has recently been featured at the National YoungArts Foundation during Art Basel Miami and the MLB FanCave Art Gallery; she has also collaborated with renowned brands, Coach, SOL REPUBLIC, Calypso St. Barth, Salvatore Ferragamo, and Sharpie.
Sarah currently is in a group show, Immediate Female, that’s on view at the Judith Charles Gallery through March 8th. Be sure to check it out this weekend.
