Dear readers, tens of thousands of our brothers and sisters in California have been forced to evaluate – with hundreds loosing their homes, as wildfires rip through Los Angeles and Ventura County.
The Thomas fire, fanned by the Santa Ana winds, is the largest wildfire ever to hit the Ventura County area. With over 60,000 acres lost to the blaze. The Creek fire is also ripping through Sylmar in Los Angles County, which as burned 14,000 acres. And the Rye fire in Santa Clarita in Los Angeles County has engulfed 7,000 acres. With the Skirball fire also destroying many more homes.
