Simon Spurr received a standing ovation tonight after his runway show at Milk Studios. The most talked about and favorite look, among those attending the show, was the magnificently tailored blazer with multi-directional striping. Inspiration for the jacket came from the “dazzled ships” of World War I that helped protect Navy ships from submarine attack. “I wanted to blur the lines between urban and country dress code,” Spurr said after the show, speaking about the collection as a whole.
One of my favorite looks of the night is the equally stunning three-piece suit; which has a fantastic cut and is effortlessly cool and chic.
Other notes from the show: Mesh shirting, amazing leather jackets and some great looking riding boots all complete a very bold collection by Simon Spurr for Spring 2012.
THANK YOU SIMON
