NoMad Los Angeles, the hotly anticipated addition to downtown LA, is one of hottest addresses in the downtown area. This massive 1920’s building (once the headquarters for The Bank of Italy – can’t you tell?) has been fully restored, marking the beginning of a new generation of luxury hotels slated for the city of angles.
The unique interiors were done by, Jacques Garcia and is unlike anything else downtown LA. With the dramatic touches throughout the public spaces playing perfectly off of the original gold and blue Italianate lobby ceiling that gleams for attention, and rightfully so. Combine the decor with the food and beverage program, helmed by Chef Daniel Humm and his partner Will Guidara (who run the New York NoMad and one of the best restaurants in the world, Eleven Madison Park), if you find something to complain about, honestly it’s you, not them.
